【摘要】:ThispartofISO8501specifiesaseriesofrustgradesandpreparationgradesofsteelsurfaces(seeClauses2and3,respectively).Thevariousgradesaredefinedbywrittendescriptionstogetherwithphotographsthatarerepresentativeexampleswithinthetoleranceforeachgradeasdescribedinwords.Itisapplicabletohot-rolledsteelsurfacespreparedforpaintingbymethodssuchasblast-cleaning,handandpowertoolcleaningandflamecleaning,althoughthesemethodsrarelyleadtocomparableresults.Essentially,thesemethodsareintendedforhot-rolledsteel,butblast-cleaningmethods,inparticular,couldalsobeusedoncold-rolledsteelofsufficientthicknesstowithstandanydeformationcausedbytheimpactoftheabrasiveortheeffectsofpowertoolcleaning.ThispartofISO8501isapplicablealsotosteelsubstratesthatshowresiduesoffirmlyadheringpaintandotherforeignmatter(seeNote2to3.1)inadditiontoresidualmillscale.
